Hi all.
I`m trying to setup a Linux machine that will act as a gateway and is going to be
connected to a remote Checkpoint NG wich installed on a Win2K Machine. The Linux box is going to be a gateway for a remote network.
I want to know if anyone has any experience with this platform,
As I was googeling I found, that it can be done with a Frees/wan client.
Yes, you can connect a FreeSWAN IPSEC VPN "client" (IPSEC is peer to peer - there is no server and no client), *if your Linux gateway has a fixed IP*.
While i didn't try it with Checkpoint NG I did use it with the previous version of Checkpoint VPN-1 product and it worked great.
Am I right? is there any other way of doing it?
There is always another way to do it :-)
Cheers, Gilad
