Kinneret is intended to run from CD. While it may be possible to install it using
Knoppix scripts, this is not currently supported officially and besides that it is
still not ready for general release.

While I can not speak for Linbrew, afaik it is still in development and it might be
quite some time before it will be suitable for such events.

Hi,

Mind me for interrupting, as I'm not Haifoee nor, to tell the truth,
have I read the whole thread carefully... (just browsed it...:-)

AFAISee, the situation goes like this: you're quite fertile there with
the technion instaparties, hence you're into the business of producing
some sort of a self-distro. Among other things, this distro should have
nice hebrew support.
Hmm... this rings familiar to me - aint kinneret and Linbrew are similar
efforts?
If indeed things are like that, more or less, there might be a point in
combining resources, sharing the knowledge, experinece, etc' from each
other.

It just rang that bell to me, and I thought to share it with you,
Boaz.
