I am under the impression that in general, preparing any kind of a
Linux CD that truly enhances another CD requires a lot of work. To
clarify what I mean, I would say that almost the opposite of `truly
enhances another CD' is just putting some newer minor versions or adding
some Hebrew related packages as is. I think that the fact that Kinneret
is still not ready for general release shows that I am right. In
particular, if I was some kind of a manager for Haifux install party I
would dismiss Eli's idea because in my opinion it is a waste of time.
Can you comment on this point?
As an aside, and in order to prevent useless wave handing, I think
that Eli should post how he will put his idea into reality. By that I
mean that he should choose his favorite mirror, be it Mandrake, RH,
Debian and so on, and tell us with painful details what would he do
next.

If the opinion that Eli represents is more correct, why the Linbrew
project doesn't show more progress? Actually, what is its current state?
