Speaking personally only, the bad taste will last until the next time at least. I work with Linux because it's both productive and fun. When I have to consult a lawyer because of mere images for a disc, the fun evaporates. That's the personal side of things.

The official side is this - if I'm exposing an organization I answer for (Hamakor) to legal risk because someone else also wants to have fun, I'm left with two options. Either tell everyone "consult us about every little thing we sponsor", which will take the fun out of everyone's actions, and will probably leave Hamakor devoid of members (myself included), or avoid troublesome areas altogether. I choose the later. The next time the question of sponsoring RedHat related CDs comes up, my vote goes against.
