Don't have any experience with encrypted partitions but it sounds that
even automatic mounting should not be a problem in this case as it should ask for a
password or something when mounting, this implementations that do both
mounting and unmounting shouldn't compromise the security.
You could also probably take one of those and hack it to enable only
unmounting without mounting.
