i manged to bypass the kenel panic error by specifiing boot=/dev/hda3 root=/dev/hda7 init=/sbin/init but now i'm stuck with Enter runlevel : and when i enter any number - the system freezes and i have to use the power switch to get some response . does anyone know how to take it from there ??
