I'm using gnucash for my personal finances, it's working out fine (when
I remember to enter all transactions).

You should understand or have someone to ask or be willing to experiment
with the correct setup of things, if you only have cash expenses it's
trivial, if you go on to account for pakam than you need to figure out
how to correctly write it.

It's reporting is nice and extendable (didn't try extending yet).

Will the reports used for the official tax reports? I'm not sure they
are acceptable with permission from Mas Hachnasa. For internal use it's
great.
