/bin/bash problem

Hi all, I have a problem with user bwurzbur on a RH9 machine i hold, when doing "su bwurzbur" the output is: su: /bin/bash  :  No such file or directory on ssh'ing to that machine under his login, the machine gives me the following ouput in the -d mode: debug1: Sent 768 bit server key and 1024 bit host key. debug1: Encryption type: 3des debug1: Received session key; encryption turned on. debug1: Installing crc compensation attack detector. User bwurzbur not allowed because shell /bin/bash  does not exist debug1: do_authentication: illegal user bwurzbur debug1: Attempting authentication for illegal user bwurzbur. Failed rsa for illegal user bwurzbur from 192.168.85.192 port 1023 Connection closed by 192.168.85.192 debug1: Calling cleanup 0x8071b80(0x0)   these 2 symptoms are originated in the same problem.  any idea what the problem is? /bin/bash exist and owned by root, the user's home dir. has the permission 755. thanks.
