because if you make a reply, the mail goes to the one that has made the
question, and not to the whole list.

To Alfredo - hit "Reply to all" if you want to reply to the list, "reply" if you want to reply to the person. The first is good strategy even if you are on a list that does have "reply to". I know of no strategy for achieving the later if you are on such a list, which is, in a nutshell, why "Reply to" was voted against.
