>Don't know which of them you want to change, but the following works for me:
\screen_font_roman "guttman yad" \screen_font_sans "guttman yad" \screen_font_typewriter "guttman yad" \screen_font_encoding "iso10646-1"
although it complained about not being able to open character set (it doesn't seem like lyx has a utf character set file). Setting the encoding to
\screen_font_encoding "iso8859-8"
also seemed to work BTW.
that's what I do by Edit>preferences>fonts> Roman...
or by changing lyxrc
but I got the problem I announced previously.
changes (guttman yad) works in english (isn't weird?) but not in hebrew.
I thought that I could just write in english and not in hebrew (cursives) when
language is set to English.
any howto page ?Take note though that all of this won't affect the final output (dvi/ps/pdf) for that you have a much harder work of teaching latex to use the font.
I realized it when I previewed my document in postscript.
Moreover, The english words which appear in hebrew (if font is set to guttman)
appear like in english in the preview.
