Hello,
on RedHat linux you can use dmidecode and look for Board Information Block.

dmidecode is part of kernel-utils.
It will give you Vendor and Product and Version.

You can google further with the info you get  if you want the chipset ID.
I also do not see the mobo ID in the kernel log ; it appear on the screen
in boot (you can pause to see it).

Isn't there any way to get the motherboard ID from Linux?  I've searched
around the web and only find DOS or Windows utilities.
