*If* the kernel was compiled with the option mentioned by Ira
than you can extract the info from the bzImage. Look for the
scripts/extract-ikconfig utility in your kernel source tree.

Not using these options (CONFIG_IKCONFIG, CONFIG_IKCONFIG_PROC)
is unfortunately a one way ticket...
