Yes.

If 512Kb upstream was enough for you, and you lived in an area covered
by HOT, then you already have had a cheap alternative for Frame-Relay.

But for the rest of us, Frame-Relay was the only game in town (assuming
Cellcom's prices for their FR/ATM are too high).

Now there is a real (and cheap) alternative from *Bezeq* (!)

It connects the ATM network to your office over the DSL infrastructure.

There are different bandwidths (256Kb, 512, 1024, 1536, 2048, 4096) and
different levels of quality (basic == CIR0, SHAMUR == at least 50% is
reserved, and MUVTACH == 100% is reserved == like SIFRANET).

Bezeq's prices are VERY attractive. For example, a symmetric 1Mb/1Mb
costs 800/900/1100 NIS per month (for the 3 levels, excluding VAT).
1.5Mb/1.5Mb costs 900/1000/1300.

Unfortunately, ISPs are still greedy, and their charge is similar to
FR.
