I want to convert a Perl util C so it can run on a machine without Perl. I don't know Perl (hopefully never will).
There is a Perl to C compiler called a "programmer". Prices and availability varies and so does the quality of the translation. They are usually not sold, but rented, sometime per hour and sometime for a monthly free. If you are interested I can rent you one :-)
In short, I failed to understand the nature of your query?
