Apparently you can get exactly the same service already using hundreds of
foreign VoIP providers (see the earlier-mentioned voip-info.org and
myvoipprovider.com for a start).
The only differences are:
1. An Israeli VoIP company which can connect to the domestic phone
infrastructure directly can offer much cheaper rates for domestic calls.
Even the cheapest international VoIP companies cannot offer rates lower
than 3c (15ag.) a minute to Israel, whereas BezeqInt offers 6ag. a minute.
2. There'll be less lag and network congestions when using an Israeli
VoIP provider.
Obviously, there's no technological novelty here and I'm sure that among
worldwide VoIP providers, Bezeq doesn't hold the award for Linux
friendliness :)
