AdSense for ads was (or could be whipped into) XHTML compliancy. But
not AdSense for search (which creates a box where you can enter keywords
and have Google search performed in either your Web site or in the
entire WWW). I consider AdSense for search to be also for public
service, so I prefer to retain it in spite of XHTML compliancy problems.
