One way text-to-report, with no real GUI manipulation of input. > http://ganttproject.sourceforge.net/ Missing basic features, such as task duration in hours. No resource leveling, so it merrily assigns the 100 tasks to the same person at the same time. > http://www.openworkbench.org Windows only. > http://www.pureviolet.net/ganttpv Supposedly cross-platform wxPython, but the developers have never tested it on Linux and it really shows -- a lot of basic stuff is broken. And again, no resource leveling. There's also Planner (http://live.gnome.org/Planner), a GNOME app with by far the smoothest GUI of all of the above. It's fairly rudimentary, but would have sufficed for my needs -- except it doesn't do resource leveling either. On the non-FOSS side there's http://www.jxproject.com (ad supported or $20 registration), which has a highly annoying Java interface and very basic functions, but it does at least do resource leveling.
