Completely agreed. I think it's bound to happen Real-Soon-Now(tm) because of several factors: - Linux is penetrating some "semi-embedded" markets (think Nokia 770 and its successors). These require trimming classic desktop components. This means there are people which the knowhow and the time/budget to invest in this. (e.g: Mozilla --> Minimo) - Linux is accelerating in 3'rd world countries which use low end hardware.
