I've had good results with a no name card (Grandtec). I have 2 of them on Linux boxes and installation was trivial on Mandriva 2007. I use Xawtv and sometimes tvtime. Actually, I prefer the kdetv GUI, but for some reason (I don't know if it's hardware or software related), kdetv sometimes crashes my machine so I stopped using it.
In any case, here's where I bought the cards for 100 shekels + shipping: http://www.getit.co.il/Group/30247/12 BTW - I also have an older Flyvideo on a third machine, but I don't think it's available any more.
