Or even more so - the narrow-mindedness of the person you talk to would easily lead him to understand that he might lose his job if the web site starts working properly. (I'm not kidding - back when there was just a plan to introduce a computerized system to the HUJI CS library (I'm talking about late-80's/early 90's) the librarians put up a strike for fear of losing their jobs).
