Apologies if this is something easily solved, but I wasn't able to tur up any
helpful pages on Google.
I just started getting the folowing when I try to load up one of my soundcards:

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed. This system has been operating
happily for several years. Yes it is runing an old kernel (2.4.32) but again
nothing has changed.
