HP was fixed and parts was replaced free of charge (under warranty) (CPM in Tel Aviv), Acer laptops are much more problematic even with Israeli bought laptops (Newpan Ashdod). Note , that in many countries the battery and plastic parts are under the warranty , while in Israel most off the time it is not.
