You could run your file through the unix2dos utility prior to moving it to Windows, and it will most probably solve your issue. Alternatively, if you'll be using Kate (which I think is better than KWrite), you have Tools -> End of Line -> UNIX (and you can change there to Windows/DOS) HTH, -- Shimi
