Hello,
I am in a serious fix. Uptil now The sendmail internal mails wre working.
Today suddenly, even the internal mails started queuing in the mail queue.
What i have found is that now I am unable to resolve my domain name itself.
i.e. I have my machine domain as vs.mgmmc.edu
so I am not able to resolve mgmmc.edu into the local IP address so sendmail
is unable to send the internal mails to the local machine itself and the
mails get queued.
What's happening and what can I do about it. I think this is a name server
problem but I cant solve it. All other hosts are being resolved. i.e.
ws1.mgmmc.edu ws2.mgmmc.edu etc. etc
but not the domain itself i.e. mgmmc.edu
How do I do this? and why has it stopped working today?
Any ideas?
