Sorry ppl for bothering you buit the problem is solved. It took about 2
hours to figure the silly problem.
What happened was that we use kppp to connect..... so yesterday maybe it
happened that when we disconnected..... the file /etc/resolv.conf was wiped
out while removing the name servers of VSNL. So you can imagine what would
have happened....
I filled up the correct entries in resolv.conf and VIOLA!! all the 20 people
on the intranet can now use their mailboxes again!!
Whew!.....
