I finally got around to spending half a day playing with Zope and
learning
about it. I have to say it's great!
Roughly speaking, it has a JSP/Servlet style infrastructure with
s/Python/Java/g. The place where it really excels is - all objects

in the system can be edited with a web interface and is ideal
for multiple people generating content for a website.
Performance difference is noticable - but is not really annoying yet.
That's kinda true for all dynamic content generators.
Is anyone interested in working on a Zope based LI knowledge base ?

You'll have to minimally install Zope and learn the basics before
doing anything.
