I installed Red Hat Linux 6.0(CHIP CD) on a partition of 700 MB, while
on the rest of the 1.2 GB HDD Windows 95 existed. It used to run OK, except
for XWindows which would not load at all. However Windows crashed on the
Pentium 166 Mhz, 8 MB machine and it had to be loaded again. Predictably the
MBR was written over and the LILO prompt dissapeared. I tried installing Red
Hat Linux 6.1(PC Quest CD), after I had deleted the non-dos partition using
fdisk. However before installation can begin, I get an error message with
the foll.:
install exited abnormally--received signal 7
sending termunation signals ...done.
Sending kill signals ...done.

    Please help.
