Hi,
I have a linux machine whole resolution which was 32 bit , 1024x768
earlier. Monitor is ViewSonic E40.
Thus very tiny.
So i decided to run Xconfigurator in setup. There i probed , and added the
lower resolutions too. Therefore 8bits,16bits and 24bits
,(640*..,..,1024x768 of each)
Now this is what is happening: if i do cntr + alt + '+'
i see only 2 resolutions now , the earlier default resolution which the
Xconfig says , 32bit, 1024x768 cant be seen,therefore the screen goes
blank(black) and the signal to the monitor (shown next to the poweron)
goes red instead of being green. Now this default resolution is needed .
What do i do?
