Hi Tusar, We have successfully installed Oracle 8.0.5 in RH 6.1. but when connecting from a client to the database, we get the error as like below. ----- Connecting.... The test did not succeed. ORA-01034: ORACLE not available There may be an error in the fields entered or the server may not be ready for a connection.
