I did things for connecting to the net i used
kppp and I followed pcquest instructions , It got
connected but the speed was extremel slow, the
connections details were same as I told u before
what I remeber is that after connecting to
net. when I started netscape some error was showing
and i just gave Ok
I can'nt figure it out, why it is slow, i
followed all the procedure, asked my friend to recheck
all what i had done,
only one place i had doubt in pcquest/linux while we
click modem they had asked us to make sure "Modem
asserts CD line " is not enabled ,I was not able to
see this option, so i was not able to do it
another problem is that i ran ntsysv and enabled sqid
but when i try to find the file squid.conf in /etc to
modify I can'nt find any such file , but when I give
ls sq* -la, I find the file but i can'nt open it, why
is it so
again also i am sending the kppp details
