Raghavendra Bhat saw fit to inform LI that:
>How can one convert a digest and split out the mails using mutt ?
>Does the variables to do this go into .muttrc ?
RagOO, I distinctly remember Binand saying "procmail" :)
FWIW, here's my recipe ---
VERBOSE=off
LOGFILE=$HOME/.procmail/proc.log
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
SENDMAIL=/usr/sbin/sendmail
#lih
:0:
* (^Reply-To:.*|^TO)linux-india-help
| formail -I "To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" -ds \
>>$MAILDIR/linux-india-help
and similarly ....
#lig
:0:
* (^Reply-To:.*|^TO)linux-india-general
| formail -I "To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" -ds \
>>$MAILDIR/linux-india-general
fine?
[The only hassle with this recipe is when someone posts an attachment of
type message/rfc822 or includes a mail with headers in his reply. Formail
sees the From: in the forwarded message, and sometimes splits it into a
separate mail. I'm frankly stumped re what to do .... Binand?????]
