Hi,
We've setup a dial-up mail server in our office.
Now we want to automate it by writing a shell script which
a) Dials-up using ppp.
b) Sendmail in queue
c) Fetchmail
If we run pppd with nodetach option then pppd runs in the foreground and
does not detach from the terminal.
If we run pppd without this option it immediately forks and becomes a
background process.
What we want is to carry on with step b) and c) only if the connection is
sucessfully established, else pppd should keep retrying.
