ALSA modules are incompatible with the OSS/Free drivers shipped with
standard kernels. But ALSA does have backward compatible drivers for
OSS/Free and there are ALSA compatible versions of the Enlightenment
sound daemon.

If u are using the OSS/Free drivers u should not use ALSA. If u are
using ALSA don't use OSS/Free as they are backward compatible. It
makes no sense to use ALSA and OSS/Free together.
