True. It is best not to try and use these machines for servers etc..
definitely not for this purpose.. the desktops offer an optimum choice
that way. You can use them as desktop PCs and servers, often at the same
time, and the parts come out and go in and are replaced damn easily, in
most cases... such is not the case with your Laptop/notebook. I would
think twice before opening my laptop [iff I had one]..

Right again, but sometimes the removable HDD and interchangeability with
another battery of FDD/CD Rom drive, and cute SCSI interface etc can be
a big boon.
