you need to have two different config files. normally, httpd.conf file has
the port number specified.

If the same binary is ok (has all the modules etc. you want), then you can
start two instances from two different config files.

try "httpd -f configfile" seperately for both.

password proctection? See the manual. I gives the syntax etc. for it. also
