"YaST is simpler than Linuxconf but with less features"
I dont know what made you say that.
I had Redhat,Suse and Windoz on my pc.
I tried YaST and i got
everything and much more features than Linuxconf, like you
can install/uninstall packages,etc(while uninstalling,i
accidentaly removed some thing (Yast didn't give
me a warning)which made me remove my suse. The problem was
when i logged in as root and typed my passwd it said some
lib.so.something was not found,so i removed my suse)
.Suse has a lot
more packages than redhat,but i didn't have a gnome
window manager.
I found the suse 6.3 kernel(2.2.13) to be much fast.Is this
version newer than that of redhat 6.1 kernel(2.2.12-20)?
bye
