Well, didn't work this way (setting absolute path in pine).

But it worked exactly as I wanted when I did as suggested by Arun (use IMAP
server and set both pine & netscape mail to connect to localhost).

Now I'm still searching answer for my next post - ie how to download mails
selectively, delete some etc without d'loading.
