I want to configure "Creative Vibra128 PCI Sound Card" in my PC running
Red Hat Linux 6.1.
When i run sndconfig, the sound card is autodetected as "Ensoniq
AudioPCI 97 ES1371" loading the module es1371.o at irq=9 and
ioaddress=x6c00-0x6c3f. It only plays sound file (.wav).If i try to record
sound using "cat /dev/dsp > test.wav" it doesn't record any sound.Beside
this when i run " "cat /dev/sndstat" it gives an error message "No such
Device".
Please send me necessary information so that i can both play and
record sound with this driver.
