I have installed SUSE 6.3 and its in a lan. I want to
check whether sendmail is working or not. i am running
sendmail as daemon by giving the command sendmail -bd
When i send a mail from an application say a java apps
on a windows machine in which i give the suse linux ip
address, from address [EMAIL PROTECTED] and receipt as
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I got the following message

Sending : Mail From : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Response from SMTP server for from : 451
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sender domain must resolve
sending: RCPT To : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Response from SMTP server for To : 503 need mail
before RCPT
sending : Data
Sending : Subject : jjjikkk
Sending : Message : jokkkd
Respinse from SMTP server fro message : 503 Need mail
command
Mail sent
