I can get a loan from my institution over the next 2-3 weeks and hence I am
shopping for a notebook.
Has anybody on the list managed to install Linux on Compaq Presario 1200 XL?
(AMD K6-2 450, 32MB/5GB, Trident CyberBlade video, ?JBL Pro Audio?, ?Diamond
modem) The dealer is not able to provide me any more details. Before you
ask, I have gone through the Laptop-HOWTO and Harker's web page. I can't get
the exact information for this model. In particular the video card seems to
have changed.
