This is what I have discovered with satyam.
Satyam will give a different telephone number for registration.
Once you dial to this number you will get connected to net without
username/password (yes believe me) the only catch is this will allow access
to only one site (how ever a lot can be done from here too) that is
memadmin.satyam.net.in
Go to this site and complete your registration formalities.
If you already have another ISP account, dial and log to this account and go
to memadmin.satyam.net.in and you can complete registration formalities.
Do not ask help desk of satyam about linux related matter, you will forget
your own fundamentals also.
