Dear Sirs,
Following were the steps taken to install iASP:
1.Installed jdk1.2 on the system .
2.Shut down the Apache server by the command :
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop.
3.Installed the RPM file of iASP from the CD (which was the installation
media) using
"rpm -ivh iasp*.rpm"
4.This created a directory called "iasp-1.0.2" in the /usr directory.
5.In "iasp-1.0.2" the following files were edited:- connector.sh ,
start-server.sh ,start-admin.sh ,stop-admin.sh ,stop-admin.sh . In each of
these ,the line JAVAHOME was set to
JAVAHOME=/usr/local/jdk1.2
6.The connector.sh script was run after which a set of questions appeared on
screen .
The script asked for the name and version of the server and the apache
conf dir.
It also asked for "proxy Host IP address <127.0.0.1> " ,"Proxy Port
<9098>" ,"Server manager
port <9095> " which were not answered by us .,but after which --
"httpd.conf " configuration done !" appeared on screen.
7.The "start-server.sh" script was run.
The problem starts after you run the "start-server.sh"script. then you see
on the screen " iASP server started" and it fails to come back on the root
prompt.
Kindly help in getting this started .
