Hi List, The First time i send an email i got enough response and i tried various solutions given to me. But the problem still persists. Here i am giving the actual list of commands that are passed will i tried connecting to the internet using rp3config.These commands i could see while using the debug opiton. Wvdial : Intrernet dialer Version 1.40 initializing modem Sending : ATZ ATZ OK Sending ATQ0V1E1S0=0 & C1&D2 S11=55 +FCLASS=0 ATQ0V1E1S0=0 & C1&D2 S11=55 +FCLASS=0 OK Sending : ATM1L1 ATM1L1 OK Modem initialized sending ATDT 4320500 waiting for carrier ATDT 4320500 connect 38400 carrier detected waiting for prompt Disconnecting at ----------------(system's time and date). Dialing finished. And after that the modem disconnects and tries to reconnect with the same number. As of kppp i still haven't figured out what should be given in the login script. I tried PAP but it gets stuck with LOGGING ON TO THE NETWORK message. May be many of you from the list who are successfully login to vsnl(Mumbai) using linux can help me out regarding what file or files should be changed to login to the internet successfully .
