all i can say about this is Yippee! NVIDIA were planning to release binary
only drivers earlier. i guess this should be considered a _real_ victory for 
the OSS community. I dont think the drivers use DRI. NVIDIA have their own
driver framework. No idea which is faster tho. I guess only time will tell.
And, btw, NVIDIA drivers run on Mesa 3.0, while the rest use 3.2. I guess the
performance wont be on par with other supported cards which use DRI. But dont
quote me on this! ;-)

psst... any idea when the NV15 and NV20 are gonna come out? ;-)
