Abbe mat na re! Do not be adventurous. Usually water will help. It will
help loosen
up the dirt, so try that first. As the CDs are aluminum/silver and are
usually
moulded in plastic, water will not harm the metal sheet inside.

I have heard of CD drive cleaning kit, but none as CD cleaning thing. If
all else
fails, refer to another mail where someone recommended iso-propyl
alcohol. I would
have appreciated the IUPAC name more.. but what the hell.. so long as it
screws the
CD, it is fine with me :-D.

Can't guide you here. I would have tried it in water with patience. What
exactly 
fell on it?
