The paritions that get mounted during a boot up are listed in the
/etc/fstab file.  If you want /dev/hda1 to be automatically mounted as /win
on your machine when you boot up add the following line (if it is not
already there) to your /etc/fstab file:

/dev/hda1   /win  vfat  defaults 0 1


Remember that your kernel should have vfat support compiled into it.  To
find out the filesystems that your kernel supports do the following:

$ cat /proc/filesystems

You have given insufficient information.  Please give us the *exact error
message* that you get.  As "what" does not exist?  Also, does the directory
/win exist?  It has to.

Once you mount a windows parititon you can access it like any other part of
