Ohhh.. is that the reason why /boot can never be reiserfs type? Or
should I
try and boot my machine from a floppy, format /boot and let try and
rewrite it?
Not worth the trouble! Right now only my /boot [16mb] is ext2, all the
rest
is Reiser and installation completed yesterday only. Will try and see
something
today... So what? All the rest 8 GB is wonderfully Reiser [till the next
crash,
for which I am gonna try my best]

Tell you what I think. I am going to try recompiling a kernel with UDMA
support,
APM support, N other supports and have a pentium optimized kernel for
myself
rather than SuSE stock kernel. Wish me luck, men.

Been through the HOWTO. Offers interesting reading. Also talks about
why some cards, during modprobe itself hang the machine :-D. YaST does
it
the moment you need to configure the network [You have the option].
I have loaded the same module. There seems to be some problem with the
card and interface... may be dust? Unlikely. I will see and report
results
tomorrow.

OK. Will do. Configuring network today... hmm... golly, can't wait till
it is three PM. Office se bhago re baba.
