I am trying to simulate diskless nodes to test performance of my BOOTP server.
I need to test it with 600 diskless nodes and find out time taken for the last
diskless node to receive its BOOTP reply.

I run this simulator program on a linux m/c. Currently I can test my BOOTP server
with 256 diskless nodes. And I have only one network card.

Hope I am clear about why I need this many virtual i/f's.

Sateesh.
