I have a PC with esssolo1 sound card. I have SuSE6.3. When I try to
compile alsa drivers, I got the msg
'Enable the OSS Soundcore multiplexer (CONFIG_SOUND)in the kernel
[soundoss.o] Error 1'
I tried yast. But there for configuration there is no CONFIG_SOUND. I
also saw soundcore module was there in lsmod. Still I gave the
CONFIG_SOUND=yes in rc.config. Still after all these I get the errors.
What to do?
