Dear list-mates.
I am an administrator of a small hospital wanting to computerize our operations. I
have
been advised by some linux fans to try a software based on Linux platform. My queries
are
1. Anybody aware of any Linux based hospital software in Kerala?
2. Is it possible to convert any windows based software to Linux based? (there are
many
windows based softwares available)
3. Is it possible to train our staff(who are not used to computers)with minimum effort
as that
of windows based programs?
4. As the software is going to be multi-user can I expect the Linux platform to be
more
sturdier than windowsNT?
5. Which Linux version is the best for our situation? Is it alright to have a Linux
server and
windows for the nodes?
I will be grateful to you if you can help me!
